CUSTOMS DUTY & FEES Customs Duty or Tax. Boutique de Char is served by various suppliers from around the world. Items may therefore be shipped to BdC’s customers from any of these offshore locations. Any custom or import duties that are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country, these charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. We recommend contacting your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.
DELIVERY OF THE GOODS
Delivery charges are shown on this website for the UK mainland, and for major European and Worldwide destinations. For locations not shown please email us for details
Once goods have been paid for, orders will be picked and dispatched to the address provided by you the Customer. No orders will be dispatched without payment being received unless authorised by us.
Depending on distance of the destination, delivery will usually be within 5 – 14 working days after clearance of full payment; A signature may be required. Please be aware this does not include weekend’s, Bank Holidays and Christmas. Orders placed overnight will be processed the next working day
All prices are quoted and charged for in UK pounds. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale without prior notice. If for any reason an item ordered cannot be supplied then an alternative product may be offered or a full refund made available for the missing item(s).
No liability for any claim for damage shall be accepted unless the purchaser notifies the vendor within 24hrs of delivery. This period may be extended at the sole discretion of the vendor. We maintain our right to cancel any order a customer might place with us if the conditions of this clause are not met.

We offer a ‘No Quibble 7 Day Return Guarantee’ on all purchases.
Our 7-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item
We do not offer a free returns service unless the items are faulty or incorrectly sent. If you are not happy with your unworn purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for an immediate replacement or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Pack your parcel securely making sure you include a copy of your original shipping note. Failure to provide a copy may result in credits being delayed
Boutique de Char, is not liable for parcels returned by customers. In the event of any claim it is the sender who is responsible for processing the claim. We advise that you ensure your parcel is covered for the value of its contents.
For any refund processed, a confirmation will be sent to you via email. For any replacement, we will process your request within 48 hours, however please allow 7 – 14 days turnaround from the time you send your parcel back to us to re-delivery
Deliveries returned marked ‘Refused’, or ‘Not In when driver called’ will not result in refund and refusal of goods ordered does not relieve the customer’s liability for paying any charges.
YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
If, for any reason you are unhappy with the Goods, you have the right to cancel your order.
Any cancellations need to be made before 3pm on the date your order is placed. Orders made after 3pm can be cancelled until 3pm on the next working day.
